Backrooms is a cartoon maze race. Every player walks through the same yellow rooms, picks up a key in their own colour and runs to the white exit door. Watch out for monsters and blue portals that throw you somewhere new.

How to play Backrooms
- Every player starts on the left side of the maze with their own colour.
- Hold your key to walk forward. Let go and your character turns, so release at the right moment to pick a new direction.
- Find the key that matches your colour. Other keys do not count.
- With your key in hand, reach the white exit door.
- Beware of blue portals and monsters. The first player to escape wins the round and earns a heart.
Tips to win
- Plan your turns. Letting go of the key at the right time is more important than walking fast.
- Grab your key first and watch the other players. A rival who already has a key is closer to the exit.
- Blue portals are risky, but they can also be a shortcut when you are far behind.
